1) Red Butte Garden and Arboretum
One of the largest botanical gardens in the Intermountain West, Red Butte Garden and Arboretum is an essential urban forestland. This community-funded garden is known for the diverse plant collections and themed gardens. Rooted in research, you can find classes as well as see conservation in the gardens. You won’t want to miss out on exploring the beauty this garden has to offer.

2) International Peace Gardens
Founded as a citizenship project and lesson in peace between nations, the International Peace Gardens is a part of Utah history. The gardens was dedicated in 1952 and now holds spots for 26 nations. Here you can explore the cultural diversity while meandering around the park. Read some of the signs, or simply enjoy the beauty the space has to offer. This spot is both great for exploring as well as a bit of meditation.

3) Sego Lily Gardens
Sego Lily Gardens is an educational garden which allows the public to observe and learn how to use water conservation while creating a beautiful and water-wise landscape. This was one of the first demonstrations along the Wasatch Front. Here you’ll find a stunningly beautiful garden that offers a large variety of drought-tolerant plants, like grasses, groundcovers, vines, and so much more. Enjoy the peace while seeing the vibrant colors of native drought-tolerant plants.

4) Conservation Garden Park
Conservation Garden Park is a living testament to Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District’s dedication to sustainable resource management. The garden features aesthetically pleasing and easily maintainable landscapes that are mindful of the precious and finite water resources. When you visit, you’ll find more than 8 acres of exhibits where you can learn about Utah’s unique climate. Enjoy the beauty of Utah-friendly plants while also learning how to maintain your own water-efficient landscape.
